Want to take a JD 466 to 410 to run in 7000 Lbs class 3000 RPM class as per rules, no water, P pump allowed any body tryed this and how did it turn out |

I'd just use a 404. They are fairly cheap and would require alot less work. The money you would spend on destroking the crank or getting smaller sleeves for your 466 would probably about the same as what you could buy a complete 404. |

Would not the longer stroke of the 466 be an atvantage if a person changed pistons and sleeves |

New puller the stroke in a jd 404 and a 466 are 4.75 the bore in 404 is 4 1/4 and the bore in a 466 is 4 9/16 hope this helps puller05 |
