tires height for farm stock May 26, 2010 04:08PM
how much tread heigh is needed for farm stock pulling, i have two sets firestone radial 18.4x38 23 degree tires. one set 15-20 percent sharp edge, the other 40 percent. i suppose the difference is wheel speed, but what bites harder at farm stock speed.

Lot of other things to consider. Track condition, wheel speed, weight of tractor. But if they are both fairly sharp they are going to treat you about the same. The ones with more bar on a soft track might dig more dirt up in front of the pan. Just my experience.
