Re: All classes and Payout June 03, 2010 04:00AM
Is this going to be an actual farm stock class? Or is it is you sign up for farm stock you get in? Speed limits? Rpm check? Just wondering if its worth it to show up with a stock tractor and pull against "Stock" tractors.

Re: All classes and Payout June 03, 2010 05:15AM
i bet they are going to just let you pull in the weight you make. would be nice if they would advertise it like ridgeland did (run what ya brung). not oh its got "farm stock" classes then anything goes. at least any kids that pulled in farm at ridgeland knew what they werre getting in to.

Re: All classes and Payout June 03, 2010 09:51AM
SOUNDS LIKE YOU BETTER KEEP IT AT HOME THEN ED

Re: All classes and Payout June 03, 2010 10:30AM
Watch out for the guys that push the cigarette lighter in going down the track too

Re: All classes and Payout June 03, 2010 01:40PM
what is the speed limit for 9000 farm and 11000 farm non turbo will there be any rpm check

Re: All classes and Payout June 04, 2010 01:41AM
Doesn't everybody cheat a little on RPM. They could do the ultimate show kill and have a pace tractor. Is that what you whiners want

Re: All classes and Payout June 04, 2010 04:04AM
Why not have a speed limit? It would make a heck of a difference in the 4500 and 5500 classes, Watch a couple of those guys going down the track playin with their cig lighters or strings hooked to the gov. Now thats real fair for "Farm Stock" now isnt it? I could bet more people would show up if they knew that they would have somewhat of a chance when there bringing a tractor right off the farm instead of a tractor that is supposedly "Farm Stock"

Re: All classes and Payout June 05, 2010 03:03AM
I believe tractor pulls are really made for the fans entertainment.

Re: All classes and Payout June 05, 2010 03:52AM
There are certain pulls when i go that i know are gonna be a donation pull for me i know that i don't have a chance at them. Its just for fun its pulling. But then there are pulls with the rules and speed limits. Its just tractor pulling if you don't know a pull with rules there are 15 more pulls through out the summer pick the pull that has the rules you want and go to that one and quit complaining about the ones that you don't like the rules about. There never going to please everyone.

Re: All classes and Payout June 06, 2010 04:56AM
Any results from Friday night Pull ??
Did Delander's kick some butt ??

Also any results from Saturday show ??
Did the 4440 pull the Farm Stock Class ??

Re: All classes and Payout June 06, 2010 07:01AM
I think Olson won one open class not sure on the other one, not sure but heard al becker won won hot farm and krueger won the other . the 4440 was in farm stock, not hot farm, good thing for them though because they would have got smoked by the tractors they are supposed to pull against. weird thing if they want everyone to think that the 4440 is farm stock it must be a piece of @$#% with all the missin spittin and sputtering it does, ive seen 3010gas jobs run smoother than that. Next year i heard they are going to see if esdon lien will bring his over and pull it in farm stock!!

Re: All classes and Payout June 06, 2010 10:58AM
He was signed up in hot farm. but then scratched and went to farmstock. Oh well. its the home town thing I guess. Leave him be.

Re: All classes and Payout June 06, 2010 11:08AM
hard to let him be when that tractor pulls farm stock with a 3 by 4" turbo on it

Re: All classes and Payout June 06, 2010 02:01PM
I know but is there any truth to that. I heard that too.

Re: All classes and Payout June 06, 2010 03:05PM
just have a look for your self and see what kind of response u will get they have been doing it for years

Re: All classes and Payout June 07, 2010 05:50AM
I DONT KNOW WHY YOU GUYS ARE CRYING ABOUT DELANDER, LOOKS LIKE THERE ARE A COUPLE OF OTHER TRACTORS THAT RUN PRETTY HOT FOR FARM STOCK .

Pretty Hot for Farm Stock June 07, 2010 06:38AM
JD...Most of the tractors that did well ran 13-18+ mph. At what point is it no longer farm stock? Most tractors going over 10mph have non factory parts...tractors going 20mph aren't even close to farm stock. It was nice to see the 4455 in the 15000# class have an impressive pull despite going much slower than most of the others. The tractors with know extensive amounts of work done to them are viewed as the bully on the playground...puts them in a lose lose situation. People always like to see a Goliath beaten... RED or GREEN. There were no rules Fri nite so all tractors were allowed. But when there are rules and the hot "farm stock" tractors knowingly skirt those rules it adds a littte fuel to the competitive spirt to those on the other side of the fence.

Re: Pretty Hot for Farm Stock June 07, 2010 08:14AM
This used to be the big pull of the year, the one to be at, now its whine and cry, no organization, drunk spectators all over the pit side, get out of the way moron.... Who is in charge? lucky you have Good Neighbor Days, or it will flop. Saturday deal was going good, heard lions members saying the last couple years were the best ever, so quit the hot pull on Saturday? I know Sat rained out, but still, there was nothing coming to town to watch that...

Re: Pretty Hot for Farm Stock June 07, 2010 08:40AM
what happened?!!

The pull went well. Didn't see all the "whining and crying" or drunkenness you witnessed. When the weather's good the turnout's good. Everyone expected rain sat. and Arkansas had a pull on sat. Nobody loads up with that kind of weather.
