Side Note: We are no longer accepting PayPal donations. They have changed their terms of service and stated they would fine PayPal users for spreading "misinformation" and "hate, violence, racial or other forms of intolerance that is discriminatory". PayPal did not provide definitions for some of these vague terms. Woke corporate policies regarding "misinformation" could result in an automatic fine of $2,500 which would have been removed directly from the customer’s PayPal account. PayPal did backdown from some of their policies but quietly implemented portions of them in later terms of service. A financial institute has no right to monitor social media accounts or speech. This is unacceptable and I'll no longer do business with PayPal.

If that thing was green, I would have sworn it was the "full throttle" deere tractor. Looks good though and must run fairly well.

Re: esdon's lss June 26, 2010 02:36PM
I definately have to say interesting. I was not shure how the tractor would look when its done but looks pretty cool Smiling maby, this is a start of the "vintage'' looking tractors.Smiling

Re: esdon's lss June 26, 2010 04:10PM
Thanks Jake for putting them on for me. I really like to see a diesel up in the top no matter what color it is.

Re: esdon's lss June 26, 2010 04:37PM
The 460 turned out pretty nice. Wonder what a set of flat top fenders would look like on it? The clamshells just look a little different to me. Good luck redline team!

Re: esdon's lss June 26, 2010 11:46PM
He has it lite for sure! It's approaching 4500 bare if it has the same number of weights on the other side.

Does anyone know if it's 3 or 4 chargers?

Re: esdon's lss June 27, 2010 01:07AM
But are those real weights or are they fiberglass???

Re: esdon's lss June 27, 2010 01:51AM
They are fiberglass shells filled with gold and osmium. There are 10 that weigh 245 lbs (gold filled) and 6 that weigh 281 lbs (osmium filled). I was told that he only had enough gold bars in the corn crib for 10 and had to do the rest in the more expensive osmium. That brings the bare weight down to around 2100 lbs.

I still have my ocean front property in Arizona for sale if anyone is interested. Grinning

Re: esdon's lss June 27, 2010 02:33AM
looks alot like the old heard boar tractor from Iowa if you ask me

Re: esdon's lss June 27, 2010 04:34AM
I couldn't agree more who was that again Ed Sass? Thats funny I don't care who you are. I'm okay with it I just wish he had the cockpit in between the fenders instead of in front of the fenders and had the front end further out.

utility 460? June 27, 2010 05:14AM
I beleive its supposed to be a Utility 460, which the cockpit is farther forward and the fenders are different. This is what i heard. Where are you IH historians to help clarify this?

I think its really neat, its different because of the 460 with a ton of power and also the fact its a real contender but on diesel in a class that the majority is alky.

Re: utility 460? June 27, 2010 06:02AM
I think you are correct. I would have to dig deep to be 100% sure but who cares the thing looks neat. If somebody would build a 730 deere for the class that would be neat

Re: utility 460? June 27, 2010 07:56AM
What did he do to keep the crankshaft in on the 236?

Re: utility 460? June 27, 2010 08:13AM
Its a super stock it could run any block he wants.

Re: utility 460? June 27, 2010 08:27AM
i had a 460 utility,and the seating is correct.tom urmson pulled a 460 utility in the mid 80's,it was named"i soar".was pretty tough too.looks like he's not using hp tires,am i correct??

Re: utility 460? June 27, 2010 11:46AM
JD 730 sheet metal would be awesome!

Re: utility 460? June 28, 2010 08:55AM
I believe binderlite has some drawings made of a 730. Heard it looked really cool!

Re: esdon's lss June 28, 2010 12:54AM
Doesn't he have calcium chloride in the tires also? I don't think the chassis weighs anything.

Re: esdon's lss June 29, 2010 02:19PM
thanks for posting the pics

Re: esdon's lss June 27, 2010 01:41PM
What rear is he using?

Re: esdon's lss June 27, 2010 03:45PM
Is this the old Just For Fun tractor that Jim Scheffler used to own just reworked?

Re: esdon's lss June 29, 2010 07:56AM
Now THAT is the funniest thing I have seen on here in MONTHS!!!!!!!!!!!!Spinning

Re: esdon's lss June 27, 2010 03:56PM
He using one them "Barrel" rearends from what i saw.

Re: esdon's lss June 27, 2010 04:35PM
As far as a 730 JD sheet metal, think again. At least a 460 IH had 6 cylinders, not 2. Clunk Clunk!

Re: esdon's lss June 28, 2010 04:06AM
It's a Doc's rearend, all new from the ground up.

Re: esdon's lss June 28, 2010 04:59AM
All new wedge chassis with "Doc" style rearend. 4 chargers and weight is about the same as the Red Line DSS. Edson said it hit right on the mark of what they wanted when it rolled accross the scales. Had a extreamly nice set of pass's on Friday at Tomah.

Re: esdon's lss June 28, 2010 05:44AM
I have video, I'll try to get it on you tube today or tomorrow. It is one sweet machine.

Re: esdon's lss June 28, 2010 09:15AM
What burped at the end of his run on sat? Seen a little fire come out the bottom towards the rear of the engine.

Re: esdon's lss June 28, 2010 10:41AM
It would look good with wheatland fenders, With the international side emblems it has instead of the farmall rowcrop badging it could be a standard. It's still a great looking tractor love the retro.

Re: esdon's lss June 28, 2010 10:56AM
Guppy-
I would assume that you were able to make Tomah then? Hope that you, Bundy, and the Weasel had a good time.....hope that it didn't rain on the Weasel and that Bundy had all the Sprite that he could drink!!!

Still owe you a breakfast....need to pay up sometime......

Look forward to the video soon.....

Re: esdon's lss June 29, 2010 02:24AM
