was wondering what the size difference is between an 806 and 856 roosa master pump is, if any. |
Re: IH roosa master pumps

pump size is .370 on both. other differences in the pumps, mostly in the advance, but none of any significance for performance. |

if you need a little bit more fuel find a roosamaster off of a 5020 John Deere. it has a .390 plunger in it. I think it has a different fireing order and you will have to rebend 2 of your injector lines to fit in the pump in the right location. I THINK I had to do that several years ago. Cant really remember. |

what size pump does a 4020 have? |
Re: IH roosa master pumps
|
firing order is set by how lines are bent, not anything to do with pump, except where #1 is. I have never seen an inline 6 with a firing order different than 1-5-3-6-2-4, except Deutz, only because #1 is rear of engine. 4020 pump is .330. I have never seen a 5020 with .390, all I've seen are .370, but some minni's used the .390. What are you intending to do with the tractor? Buddy of mine just took his .370 pulling pump off his 806, to put one of my DC pumps on to try out. I'll see if he wants to sell the .370 pump. |

i have a 560 with a D301 and a turbo, it currently has the 310 pump on it, it needs more fuel. |

my buddy's modified 370 would really wake your tractor up. I'll talk to him tomorrow. your number is on the wanted pages right? |

It is also called the smoke screw. It gives it more fuel. |
Re: IH roosa master pumps

it allows some external adjustment of fuel output if the roller dimension is turned up, otherwise just plugs the hole. |

what size pump did the 1456 come with? |
Re: IH roosa master pumps

DC pump spline drive, 4 plunger .270 stock in 1456. DC pumps are getting hard to come by. plus driveshaft. |

Yes,the 4 roller Roosa-Master pumps are getting real hard to come by.Only 1456's and 220 AC's used them. I put a 2 roller on my 1456. I might consider selling my 4 roller pump shaft. |

White 2-135 and 2-155 tractors also used the four plunger pump. |
Re: IH roosa master pumps

the 2-135/2-155 used 4 roller pumps, but they are DM's. DC .310 pumps were used on AC D21/210/220, IH .270 1456/early 915 with HD-DT407, some DT429's like 4156, and other industrial. JD 4620/7020, also used the smallest DC at .250". your little engine would wake up with just a hopped up .370 DB, unfortunately my buddy is out of state all week, so I can't get ahold of him for you. farmallford, are you listening? |

I have several .450 and .500 roosa's they will light that 560 up if you are interested. The .370s and the .390s are not even close to running as hard as a .450 If you want fuel and lots of smoke and still want to run a roosa this is the way to go. |
Re: IH roosa master pumps

Will the 450 pump bolt onto a int 806 with a D361 engine and how much for the pump |
Re: IH roosa master pumps

Interested is a .450 if you still have one |

I would recommend injumped to anyone looking for roosa-master work. Know of several of his pump and injector setups, all are impressive. Put a .370 head pump
(Stock head)On a 856, makes easy 245 hp and pulls like freight train for speed limit classes. Very pleased with his work. Ps. Ed you have my address for commission checks!! Lmao |

what is better 2 or 4 roller |
Re: IH roosa master pumps

An older guy told me that you want the heavy weights in governor to have quick rpm response. I would think light would be better?? |
