Modified question for old timers (early '70s) July 26, 2010 04:01PM
Who had the top 12,000 modified in the early '70s?

Was it Bosse Bros? Ralph Chamberlain? Lloyd McVey? Arfons or the Judge (though I tend to think of them as coming into their own in the mid '70s instead of the early '70s)? Were there some really good ones from that era that deserve to be mentioned?

btw- one other question. Out of curiosity, which tractors ran tank motors?

I am thinking from Michigan there was a guy named Keck and another named Hoffman, and a guy from Ohio named Willett.
Any others?
