External oil pump August 19, 2010 04:20AM
What do most guys run on a super farm for an oil pump? Have heard of some running a hydraulic pump, how much flow do you need? Assuming i shoudl stay right around 80 psi down the track, how big of a pump does one need? also what are people using for regulators or unloaders?
thanks

Call Phil at Riverside engines in Tiffin, Ohio. He will set you up with everything you need. I used the largest single stage Aviaid pump available. Saw alot of Pro stockers using the system I bought. I put many seasons on my Super Farm before i changed any bearings. Ran 60-70 psi. I believe it cost about $1700.00 for everything including AN fittings and stainless steel braided lines. Riversides phone number is 419-927-6838 Good luck.

I have 2-2 stage aviaid pumps that I'd sell. One is brand new that is a reverse rotation (pump infront) and the other is standard rotation (pump inline). It was run a couple seasons on my tractor and hasn't been ran since Aviaid checked it out. Both have 2" pressure sections. I'll take $800ea for them.

Alot of superfarms, and some limited pros are running stock 1" wide oil pump and a good heavy releif spring works well, no extra cost.
