p pump

are the 5020's and 6030's only gonna be alowed to run in the one class? |
Re: Freetown Tractor and Truck Pull September 5th

farm stock puller
|
They don't want the bbjd tractors there period, they also don't want the 1150 mf there either that is why they came up with the no tube frame rule and the 3x3 turbo rule. Apparently they figure that if they rule out everyone with any power maybe that allis has a chance. come on guys all you need is a mph limit for the stock classes and the open should be just that, open. |
Re: Freetown Tractor and Truck Pull September 5th
|
we didnt say we didnt want them there only 4 showed up in the spring so we figured only one class was good the rules have always been no tube frames and 3 inch turbo since the time we started pulling we are not starting an argument its for a good cause and put your real name instead of hiding behind farm stock puller and feel free to call |

smokin deere
|
You did not have a no tube frame rule or a 3x3 turbo rule last spring! |
Re: Freetown Tractor and Truck Pull September 5th
|
depends on how many tractors are there usually its in the 100 dollar range for first place |
Re: Freetown Tractor and Truck Pull September 5th
|
usually try to give at least 100 dollars for first place try to give as much to scholarship as possible this is the first fall pull we are paying for it all without sponsors hope for a good turnout and see you there |
Re: Freetown Tractor and Truck Pull September 5th

No pump
|
I will agree on one thing open needs to be open. In fact i predict next year there will be few a pump and p pump open. It will be one class. Already showing up this year. |
Re: Freetown Tractor and Truck Pull September 5th
|
yes only the 6030 class they can run the mph classes |

Worry free
|
guys keep doing what you are doing. Dont worry about the critics . believe me you are always gonna have em. If they dont like it dont come and pull. Run your show the way you want. I was really getting worried that fsp had faded away but low and behold he returns. |

Re: Freetown Tractor and Truck Pull September 5th

p pump

i do say its your pull run it how you want but one rule i dont agree on is you have to run the mph to run the open. the whole point of the mph is to even out the field but horse power is still a factor. a stock tractor is always gonna be the underdog with the hot tractors i dont care how much you slow them down. so i say have the mph, let the closer to stock tractors run in it where they have a chance. than have an open class and let the big dogs eat. making everyone run in the mph is like saying we know we cant beat you but we are gonna make you pull against us anyway. if you dont make them, the hotter tractors will not run in the mph classes then you have an evener "farm stock" class then the hotter tractors can do what they are built for |

farm stock puller
|
well said P pump, they want to complain about the open tractors and make this rule and that rule but then they turn around and make them compete against the mph tractors. Now where is the logic in that? I know the idea is that the open tractors don't run well in the mph classes so you are just taking there money yada yada yada. these classes need to be separate, people get on here and complain that a stock tractor can't compete in the mph classes and that we need all these rules but then pulls like this one turn around and force open class tractors to compete with them. |

Re: Freetown Tractor and Truck Pull September 5th
