another thing

Look REALLY close, everything that is cast iron,,,, throw it away.
Get a semi rear end, and some CAT or Franklin planataries, some DOM tube, and a 1/2 ton Ford straight front axle and a pinto rack and pinion, get a roll or two of really good mig wire, and 2 tape measures, 4 squares and about a billion C clamps, find a really flat spot on the floor, start in! Component pro's are legal in NTPA, PPL, and even Outlaws, they are sureley legal in your outfit too? |

1105 is fine to use something different but you need to use another engine 354 perkins is too small and cant be made big enough .Put the sisu engine in it is not a dead end like the perkins 354. |

MF

Will the 1105 rear end and transmission hold up for pulling or is there a better choice of MF transmission and rear end? What is the cubic inch of stock sisu engine? |

Sisu
|
The biggest Sisu 6 cylinder engine is 8.4 Liters, about 513 cubes from the factory. This is a common rail engine. |

8.4L Sisu
|
The rear end will hold but all depends on what class you are planning on running. You can only get so big of a gear ratio into the stock casting. The 8.4L is a 513 Sisu but it also came in a mechanical injection 12V version. The Superhick superfarm of the Batliners is currently running the 8.4L. |
