What is involved with getting IH 466 sleeves to fit into the 414 block? |

They are the same dimensions and will go right in or you can use the 414 sleeves. Only thing different is the pistons and crank. |

Their the same! Only difference is stroke between the two, otherwise the bore is the same. |

So, if the sleeves are the same (length, width, inside diameter, outside, etc...) all you have to do is change the Crank? That will add to the stroke, in turn increasing cubic inches? Or do you have to change rods and pistons as well? Thank you. |

Just change the crank and pistons. The pin height is different on the pistons from the 414, 436, and 466. Or you can shave your 414 pictons, cut whatever off the top. But then you need to remachine the bowl too. Hyper used to machine the 414 pistons for like $60 each.. |
