IH DT 466 front cover October 21, 2010 02:50AM
Will the front cover from a DT436-466 fit on the 466E block? Will this work with an external oil pump? It looks like the 466E front cover is not going to work well with a P pump. I realize they were on the PLN 466 (prior to the E model) but it appears to have too many idler gears to hold up in pulling.

Also, are the heads interchangeable? Can a DT or Hyper head bolt on the 466 E?

Sorry for so many questions, just checking all available options!!

the front cover wont fit, if you have New gen mechanical front cover P pump will fit
