Deere SF motors with Cummins cranks December 22, 2010 06:56AM
I have heard rumors that people are installing Cummins cranks in Deere blocks to make SF engines. How does this compare to the Billit cranks? Has anyone done this and care to share some info? Do they make the same torque and hp? How well do they hold up? I have also heard of international cranks being installed? is that true? What shops are doing this work? I am new to pulling and wanting to build a SF.
Thanks + nice website
Tony
