These pictures go back to the late 1960's-early 1970's.I've seen everyone of them pull.Pullfan 1066 sent these to me and I'll let him tell you more. |

is the bottom pic powered by a industrial motor where the ex ports are in the middle,some leroi's or hall scotts are like that,but i cant remember which.. |

It is an airplaine motor from a fighter in world war 2 built in 1944. motor is upside down in tractorand is all aluminum with pure silver rod and main bearing |

I remember seeing the V-12 Ranger pull several times.How many cubic inches was it?Do you guys still have the tractor? |

im not sure how many cubic inch it is but i know that they still have it sitting down there i was just by there house the other day and seen it |

The Ranger engines came in both inline 6 and the V-12 types. If memory serves me correctly, the inline 6 was 440 cu. in. The V-12 was 770 cu. in. I think the V-12 was rated somewhere above 500 H.P. One of their major uses was just before and during WW II as power plants for a twin engine training bomber (Fairchild AT-21 Gunner). I wish I had a couple of those engines to play with. The Ranger V-12 was co-designed by one of the original engine designers of the Allison V-1710. If you have ever seen a Ranger V-12 up close, there's a lot of similarities between the two. The Ranger V-12 has sometimes been referred to as the "Baby Allison". |
