I have been watching old Louisville tapes on you-tube and came across a 1990 pro-stocker that sure looked like one of the Bill and Bret Berg 3688's, driven by Patrick Shaffer from Cannon Falls MN is that possible? Also didn't Patrick Shaffer run a 1206 Super Farm in the late 90's? Thanks in Advance for any help

I think Bretts last tractor was a magnum and the last guy to own it was Stanley Lloyd, it was the "Ohio Rascall"

You are correct on the one 3688... Pat Schaffer from cannon falls had one of the Berg's old tractors.. He pulled that tractor as a prostock for a while, and then it became a "mod stock" that's what mn called superfarm in the early 90's, before it was actually called superfarm. Pat also had either a 1066, or 1466 at the same time in the mod stock class... Years this all happened? That i couldn't tell you. But i think it was 1 or 2 years that he pulled prostock. And that could have actually been even around 89? or 90... I don't believe Brett and Bill had those two tractors real long. I know that Brett built that magnum around 87 or 88... But didnt have that one very long and decided to get into car racing for a few years. Always did stay connected to tractor pulling though. He stayed cutting tires, and I think he even helped Pat out on his tractors over the years.

Also Pat did have a 1206 that he pulled in the superfarm class for a year. But what ever happened to that, i have no idea where that went. I do believe that the 3688 is still in MN... Or maybe the sheetmetal is.. I think when pat had it the name was neon nights or something like that... Gosh this all was a long time ago...

Thanks for the help guys, I do believe the 88 series Sleepless nights that Guy Blechinger had and was orginially a pro stocker out of Iowa called Jamies Strumpet or the chassis anyway. He did tell me two years ago that after he built the Magnum the 5488 went to someone in Southeast Minn. and pulls in something like a limited pro class.

The 3688 sheetmetal was pichlers superfarm years ago then went to matt kohnen now resides in gibbon,MN on a super arm called chain reaction! hope that answers the question! current owner is brian wiltscheck

Used to watch it run when Matt Kohnen bought it and boy it was a screamer. But now that he sold it to wilchek it don't run nearly as good.
