Wondering if anyone has heard how the CMP meeting went last night? Any change of rules? Pulls? Etc? |

Major, Majaor changes in all the rules! Greg, you can finally come and pull with us now! Even a new Diesel 9500 pound class! 2 pulls going to merge with championship pulling, for the first year! Should be interesting! |

They will be up on the webb site very soon! I'm kind of wondering what, if anything, is Red River going to change to make it better for CMP members to come over to pull with you guys? Thanks! |

We had our meeting and banquet last weekend. Not much changed except we had a reccomendation to change our twin engine cubic inches back to 530 in the 6500# class. The board approved it for the 2011 season. That should help some of your mods! We can work on some other things but we can't make changes until next season. |

We are trying not to have Scrap Iron and our events! Pullers say it launches to hard and heavy out of the start. Sometimes that may not be able to do! We are focusing our efforts of the Rose Sleds. Seems the pullers like to hook to them! |
Re: CMP Meeting!

its about time
|
If you guys truely do try to get the Rose sleds to your events it will greatly reduce damage to your tractors (tires, engines) you will be able to pull the sled to 300 ft plus in 20 seconds rather than goin 250 ft in 30 seconds. VERY SMART IDEA CMP. Now come up with some rules that relate to getting more tractors to your pulls. If you can accomplish that it will draw more of a croud. Good luck. |

I have pulled in front of the Rose Sleds,(On Many occasions) and I agree, they let you launch out of the hole, let you get momentum up, but have no trouble putting the STOPS to you at the other end. Very nice people, good equipment, a recipe for a good fan favorite. End result ...,a good show for the people coming to watch. I am surprised that as many rules passed that were made a motion on at the meeting. Even a new DIESEL class for the Super Farms/Pros. Even the Alkys can com over and Tug with the club! Thanks! |

In the new 9500 pound class is there a turbo limit and cubic inch limit? If not why call it "LIMITED PROSTOCK". If there are no limits you could have some mean wisconsin tractors come your way. |
