100 rotary supply pump January 22, 2011 12:42AM
wondering if anyone has ever bypassed the stock supply pump on the back of a model 100 rotary? what did you supply the pump head with and how much pressure?

An additional question to the pressure, does it have modifications to the goveror and sleeve to handle higher pressure or not? What GPM pump would a model 100 require?

the governors have been lightened but which sleeve are you pertaining to? the sleeve the pump head sets in or the sleeve on the plunger shaft?

I'm not sure, but I believe with out the modification work done to it, too high of supply pressure would cause a runaway condition, at least thats what a pump shop told me.

are you running a 10 mm head or 13 mm..? makes a difference on supply pump flow and pressure

13mm

I used a FASS 95 12v pump and filter system on the 666. Bypassed the 100's charge pump completly. I run about 65-70psi to the head of the injection pump. Seems to work really well.

the fass pump is fine, its costly, but works very well, your stock charge pump will generally be ok up to about 360 cc's of fuel delivery, depending on how your pump was built,,,as far as the port closure setting and rpm,,,much after that and the pumps start to run out of fuel supply, hope that helps,,,,,you can also just add a sprayer pump to you final filter ..to supplement your oem pump, works well
