How do the 640cu 4.1 limited pros and the 540 no turbo limited pros campare if they would run together??

that is a very interesting topic I have heard that BSTP are going to try it. but aint everyone in badger a 640 who is gonna build a 540 to try it. there needs to be a way to do it so those who want to rebuild to a 540 have an option and a place to pull . yippy ntpa has a class with no were to pull seems kinda retarded wtpa heavy super class aint very many tractors and a SF pulled with them last year and got a few pay checks. kinda makes a guy sittin on the fence not know witch way to fall. 540 will add WAY more color to the red and green parade that the 640 4.1 will ultamatly become.

Im not sure if looking at the grody results dose it any justice as mabey the short track and tight sled the 640 torque takes over the 540 rpms??? i dunno and some them 540 gots a pumps on em

it will take some time to figure that conundrum out. either way this is and will be a kick to the nutz of the sf class
did not itpa drop sf infavore of 640 4.1??

The NTPA light pro class is picking up steam in Region 2 anyway. Don't see the 640 class doing much in that area . Looks like the 640 is pretty popular the further west you go. Not sure how it will all settle out, the heavy super class is light on numbers Region 2 as well as the prostock class. I would assume one of those will go by the wayside.

Just because your oliver in the shed isn't proven yet to be a top runner in the 640 class doesn't mean other brands besides red and green can compete, I know of a couple BLACK Tractors that hold their own mr. 540

No doubt the Cases are strong and good for that class. I enjoyed watching the 4.1s run at Gordyville. However, I wish all those guys were running 540 Light Pros instead. That would definitely give the other colors a place in the sandbox too.

Right now, heads-up, I'd give the edge the 4.1 640 tractors. That may change when the 540 guys figure out a good 4.5 setup that has some torque range... and that day will come.

i will say that the 640's will should have the advantage on a indoor short track. maybe on a long track too but we wont know until we see proof from some heads up runs. yes those black cases run awesome and i will bet the are 640 since they were sf tractors a few years ago. congrats to them. but as far as a red green show, i dont bieleve its quite true cause we all know when them blue tractors from PA show up they are a force to be reconed with

We almost got to see what would happen. Some Light Pro had to scratch, they couldn't get there till Fri., don't know what the out come would have been those black cases are really strong.

i have no idea. I cant jump ship on the red ones and go with black (even though that is the safest bet!) I like the best driver in the country that being jon burton with one of his two! it will be fun to watch

see thats the thing waiting for someone else to build (540) does not get it done. if you wanna build for it do it and there will be places to hook it NTPA heavy super---- BSTP 4.1 limited pro
