IH DT 466 February 05, 2011 12:56AM
When did the 466 engines change from standard to metric? Will metric bolt in a tractor? Would a 95-97 mechanical, be standard, roller cam, and P-Pump correct?

I'm not a huge dt expert, but heres what I know. Early ones had Model 100 pumps on trucks and tractors, next they started putting A, and MW pumps on the same family engines, but the new generation DT466/530 with P pumps are a totally different animal. There may be some parts interchangeability, but they dont "bolt in" to tractors. good luck, Ed.
