Is there a paint code for ih red and white to get a base/clear? Or are most just finding a say ppg color that is close to the stock color?? Thanks

If I remember correctly there is a code for the paint. My brother is a painter and he painted my tractor for me. I am not sure what the code is though, but I do belive there is one.

Original red color for the older IH , like the 460 is 2150 red rouge !Hot

I use PPG Delfleet #707940 in base/clear its close to like billet binder whats smokin binder. I had it mixed in PPG Omni line and Its was $70 quart.

we use valspar paint.2150 is in there computer and we used base clear.it looks really good.

There isn't a lot of advantage to using BC/CC for a solid color. Single stage urethene will look just as good and be just as durable with less work and less money. Metallics are where BC/CC has a real advantage. Anyhow here are some mix #s that are a match for IH 2150 red;
PPG # 71310, NAPA Martin-Senour # 4115.

IH # 901 white NAPA Martin-Senour # 3965. This would be the color for 06 -56 series.
IH # 935 white NAPA Martin-Senour # 11934 for the 66 series and newer.

Other paint brand dealers should be able to cross these numbers.
