Re: NFMS finals.......RED PARADE hahahahahaha February 23, 2011 03:19PM
yeah got to let a green one win every now and then

Re: NFMS finals.......RED PARADE hahahahahaha February 23, 2011 04:34PM
the only reason they have the top 7 places is because most of them are cookie cutter tractors thanks to some john deere hoods, riverside engineering and engler.Eye Rolling

Re: NFMS finals.......RED PARADE hahahahahaha February 23, 2011 04:54PM
real original loser
before you bash lets see your tractor

Re: NFMS finals.......RED PARADE hahahahahaha February 23, 2011 05:31PM
The same can be said for u Spinning, but there no cookie cutter red ones!

Re: NFMS finals.......RED PARADE hahahahahaha February 23, 2011 11:31PM
So most Deere's look the same (cookie cutter). Wow. That's kinda like the last 35 years of IH having almost exclusively a 1066 with Hypermax equipment ("oh look, there's another 1066 coming down the track. WOW, how original!"), but they have really shook it up the last few years wth that box called the MX series hood. How original. Talk about cookie cutter.

In case you haven't noticed, we are going down a slippery slope where everything will be "cookie cutter" (component) before long.

What's the big deal if the top 6 look the same, regardless of brand, it's practically inevitable anymore. That's "progression" for you.

simply pointing out that its no wonder they are in the top 7 they are very very simular tractors.

Re: NFMS finals.......RED PARADE hahahahahaha February 24, 2011 11:15PM
Ya....remember the 1066 hyper cookie cutters of the 90's. Yer all jealous cause Tantrum not only wins, but does it lookin sharp.

Re: NFMS finals.......RED PARADE hahahahahaha February 25, 2011 01:38AM
It's still kinda funny though that in the 5 tractor classes at th NFMS 10 of the top 15 spots went to IH red 3 went to john deere and 2 went to agco allis. John deere got the pro stock class and should of considering that 9 of 12 were green in the finals due to the lack of color in that class to begin with.

Re: NFMS finals.......RED PARADE hahahahahaha February 25, 2011 03:46AM
So that's exactly like the number of Red ones vs Green ones in the SS classes then. That's the trouble today with not many other highly competetive colours.

Last time I checked the Farm magazines, they're less color choices out there for new farm tractors. Several lines use the same brand motor. So I guess we'll have to get used to it.

Re: NFMS finals.......RED PARADE hahahahahaha February 25, 2011 04:30AM
You are right about the brands, look at the Agco line-up, how many lines are under that umbrella? A common engine for all could be happening one day! I hate to say it, but that day is drawing closer all the time.

Sorta like when NASCAR's ran the IROC series.

Soon we'll be Indoors Running One Color

And it will be GREEN!

Except you cant pull any modern farm tractors!! John Deere 8000R tractors start at like 25000lbs and go up from there, most are in excess of 30000 and even the 2wd are that heavy. Never could you get one of those tractors down to 10200lb to make a prostock out of one. Heck an 8360R could pick a pair of IH superstocks up on the 3pt hitch and drive off with them!!! Besides everything nowdays is 24Valve and computer controlled so it wouldn't be allowed anyways. I would love to see somebody pulling a hot farm 8000. Heck with their common rail I bet with just a turbo swap some injectors and some fire rings you could run 1500hp out of one easy! That and they are already 540cid they are perfect! A 1500hp 25000lb tractor would be tough to stop on todays sleds, it would be like the semis only worse! Can you say IVT?? lol
