Doing a little research on HC5a turbine wheels. Does anyone know how many turbine wheels are offered and what the sizes and trims they are.Can't seem to find a good spec sheet.

There are 3 common wheels with a multitude of odd ones that are rarely seen. The common wheels are E,F, and G trim. They all have an inducer of about 5.1" and are 11 bladed The exducers for the various trims are: E 3.75", F 4.18", and G 4.37.

Thanks a lot ! I am looking for something in the area of 4.3-4.4 exhaust wheel and 3.9-4.4 compressor. will I find this in a H5 or will I need look elsewhere??

hey jd4455ssd a 4.375 turbine outlet is a G-trim I believe, but it does sound like what forever red is looking for so good luck!

Age is the main diffrence I believe, and possibly the comp cover diameter. I am not sure. I don't think Holset ever made any billet H5 stuff as it is to old. Anything billet would have to be Hx80, Hx82, hx83, or Hx85 stuff. I believe H5 are like the Hx80 and have the smaller comp cover. The HC5a is like an Hx82 with the big comp cover.

It is probably because you need to register as a user to PM somebody. Most G-trims will probably be bigger than a 36cm. I don't have any 4.1 turbos but I do have a G-trim 3.9 HC5 if you need one. It is set up witha 1.14 AR garret housing which is probably pretty close to the 36cm you want.

Yes; original Holset. Wheels, compressor housings and back plates; no shafts or exh hsgs.

What I am ideally looking for is an out of the box Holset with a 4.4 exhaust wheel and a 4.1 compressor. Is there such and animal . Hard to find specs on these things, local dealer says bring me a cummins application number. Yeah okay!!

There MAY be an hc5a with those specs. I'm thinking it would be more like an hx82 spec. A cummins mech friend of mine may be able to get you an assembly number. It may take a few days. If it doesn't have to be an hc5a, I could give you the assy number off of my hx82. It has the measurements that you mentioned.

That would be great if you could get a Hc5a number as well I would take the HX 82 number also. Does the HX 82 have a large compressor housing or a smaller narrower one. Trying find something in a 32 exhaust housing also. Thanks for the help

Where do you have that stuff on e-bay? e-bay motors parts? Also might could use an application with a 4.4 exhaust and a 3.9 compressor.
