with a 3 disk clutch should i consider a billet release bearing carrier and the fork. thanks

With a billet carrier, you get about another 3/8 of an inch of adjustment. Then when machining the cross shaft for clearance for the weights on the clutch, it really weakens that stock cross shaft. If it was mine I would upgrade both. I have a billet carrier and after market cross shaft and fork if you are interested. Very well priced too.
