All of this stuff about cheater water is silly. The best solution is all tractors are teched before the pull and water tanks are empty and dry. The tractors are hauled into the arena where there are cases of distilled water from the grocery store. Everybody can get 2 or 3 jugs whatever they need and a can of sealed pump lube that is provided as well if they want it. The water is added into the tanks while the tractors are in plain view waiting their turn to hook. If you aren't ok with using distilled water and napa pump lube then you can load your tractor and go home. This way everybody gets the same thing and there aren't any issues. The water could probably even be donated, but if not I doubt $500 worth of Kroger water is going to break the NFMS budget.

A better solution would be that the driver has to drink a cup of it after the pull. Water pumps are cheap and easy to get, no need for lube. If you think he is mixing ethanol with it, you can smell that difference. God help him if he is using methanol as that is poison.
