Anyone know what the scoop is on the Profarm(?) 7000 series Allis?

its too bad allis didnt make a bigger motor than the 426 to make it easier for people to pull the AC's at a high level because these are a damn beautiful tractor and are nothing but raw horsepower

It appears that the AC in the results was Matt Altrater, who is shown on an AC220 in the photos of drivers list. He may have built another unit, or, as allowed in the rules, upgraded the sheet metal, but the 220 metal looked a little cleaner in the pics!! At 540 cubes, with the 2.4 charger, should be a fairly color friendly class. The AC appeared to have good tire speed in the photos, stopping at 232 ft in a class won around 247---looks like a good competitive class all around for ih, deere, ford and ac.

The 7000 AC in the Pro Farm Class was indeed Matt Altvater. They are from the eastern shore of Maryland. He, his brother and his father have an AC 220 Pro Farm too. That tractor was home in the shop. Matt decided to sneak out for the weekend with his 7000 series. They've been doing a lot of work on their tractors and they're running really good. I think he has more plans for it as the year goes on, but we'll see.

As long as he doesn't put it on our red tractors too bad! Smiling

Good run Matt! See you in a few weeks!
