Super Farm to a 4.1 Limited Pro April 18, 2011 01:48PM
What would all need to be changed on a BBJD superfarm to be a competitive 4.1 limited Pro. Found a superfarm for sale, but I'm wanting to run 4.1. Thanks in advance.

4.1 charger, bigger injectors, little more fuel, and a lot more fun, about all the 4.1's are old superfarms.

There's alot more to it then that. And they are not all old superfarms.

Mark, just curious about what kind of HP a good 4.1 tractor is putting down on the dyno? I have heard anything from 1400 to 2000. What do the so called "good" numbers fall.

Just an interested fan Smiling

Thanks

basic SF to 4.1 and turn fuel up, 1800 hp. I think this will be the up and coming class. That will phase out the SF all together.

itpa (illinois) has already dropped SF in place of 4.1 limited pro.

I think 1800 -2000 should catch it to be competive, it will make SF more of a starter class?

I don't think the super farm class will ever die, there are some people that are happy to stay right where there at. Our local dirt race track has some different hobby stock, small trucks class and so on, there not all going to switch to IMCA Modifieds. I used to be in SF for about 8 years, and I still like the class, just my opinion. Darin
