I'm not sure on that. About the only ones that would fit would be some of the Hot Farm tractors. |
Hey Blackstack?

Goz: At Wisner on the 26th, we'll have the Big Red Sled. If it'd be a 640 cube 4.1 charger, I'd have my doubts that Big Red could get er stopped, but I'd say give 'Weasel' a call once, he'd be the one who'd make the deciding factor on that one. Otherwise, I don't think they'd have any problem w/ an exhibiton hook.
farmboy: Yes, we have a 3000 RPM class, and it's very similar to West Central Iowa's 3000 RPM class. We don't use the RPM sensors, though. Otherwise, its 466 cube, 3LM box chargers, 10mm A pump max. Over 466 cubes & its 2800 RPM's. Wheelie bars, tie bars, and either a scatter blanket or steel plate around the clutch housing are needed. 18.4-42 or 20.8-38 uncut tires. |

We are a 466 limited pro from WCIP. And have pulled The big red sled last year. Just looking for a place to test the new setup! |

Oh, now that shouldn't be a problem at all. They'd probably put you in the Hot Farm class, which would work just fine, the Hot Farm's are running 3x3 chargers. I'd say bring it out, the more tractors, the merrier!
Seems like everyone has a 'Limited Pro' class, and no two 'Limited Pro' classes are the same. |

Hey Blackstack, Your rules are very similar to ours, except WCIP doesnt require tie bars. Is this going to be a problem? Should I start fabricating some? |

It really should have them. For the first few hooks, you should be ok, but if a guy was to continue to come over, you might want to weld up a set. For just the occassional visit, you should be ok. If you have a SFI flywheel, that helps, they'll still want the bars, but its at least safer w/ the SFI clutch. I think some of the WCIP guys pulled w/ us in Bancroft last year, so there shouldn't be any problems coming over & pulling with us. |

For the 3000 RPM class, the rules are 466 cube max (for 7700 lb & up classes, the smaller weight classes have different cube limit), 3LM-466 out-of-the-box turbo is the only legal turbo, 10mm Bosch A pump is the max you can have for an injection pump, NO water injection, wheelie bars required, tie bars required, scatter blanket or 3/8" thick steel plate around clutch housing is required. Air shutoff is required. 20" max drawbar height, max tire sizes are either 18.4-42's or 20.8-38 uncut tires. Roll Bars or cages are not required, but would be a wise idea. Seat belt required if cage or bar is present. |

Tie bars attach from the rear axle housings of the tractor to the framerails, ahead of the clutch housing. In the event of a clutch explosion or clutch housing breakage, the tie bars are supposed to help keep the tractor in one piece & keep it from falling in on itself.
As to the rules in the 'farm' class (its actually called the Stock RPM class): Stock cubic inch engine for that make & model of tractor, stock appearing injection pump, 3LM-466 turbo max, runs at stock RPM's according to Nebraska Test. No curved stacks. Wheelie bars mandatory. 20" drawbar height, 18.4-42 or 20.8-38 uncut max tire size. |

I have it listed on one sheet @ 1:00, the other says 12:30. I'm gonna do like I usually do & show up early & be there by 12:00. That way I can look around & do some BS'ing. |

I'm not 100% sure what time its really supposed to start, so I'm just gonna stay on the safe side & say 12:00 noon.
The 3000 RPM classes are 6700 & 7700 light (360 cube max for turbos), then 7700 heavy all they way up to usually 11700, or 12700 if anyone want to pull that heavy, all 1000 lb increments. |
Northeast NE pull @ Wisner starts at 12:00

Did a lil investigating, the start time at Wisner was changed from 1:00 to 12:00. Sounds as though there should be new schedules available in Wisner. |

I was looking at the schedule for the Great Plains Tractor Pulling Assoc. and saw the pull in Menno, SD was on July 2nd, not the 1st. |
