Does any body out there no where to get a water injection pump that will maintain 1200 ibs going down the track, not a belt driven system but a electric over hyd pump . It looks like a starter with a tank mounted to it. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks |

It is a 12v hydraulic pump. They are in the hydraulic section, page 533 in the spring 2011 book, 1.4 gpm,1600 psi, 3 quart reservoir, item #1070-2106, $279.99. There are others, but this is the least expensive. |

the pump from northern or any other powerpack style will not keep 1200 psi for water injection , if u spec a larger pump section like 3.1or 5 gpm u will get closer but still won't make it. they will put out about 6-800 psi maybe more if u run a lot of lube with your water but then it may not pass water tests. most gear typ pumps will seize up if u try to run alot of pressure with water, I have sold these and still sell them and this is what I have found, word of advice if u get one of these pumps run your water and lube through them with no nozzles (free flow) for a couple of gallons worth to "break in the pump" it will reduce the posibility of seizing it right away.

I use a electric hyd. pump with a 2.5 resovior and it will pump 1.5 quart in a pass. It runs 1300lbs have used it for 3 years and have not had any problems with it.I remove the tank and clean it at the start of the year |
