Re: Attica Ohio Pull June 25 June 10, 2011 07:22AM
What do you consider a mod farm for your 12000 pound class

Re: Attica Ohio Pull June 25 June 10, 2011 08:25AM
What is "open farm" just how open is it?

Re: Attica Ohio Pull June 25 June 10, 2011 05:56PM
We are having open farm that way we can get a mix of tractors in that class that need a good test hook. Mostly what always shows up is hot farm tractors, with a few superfarms, but as far as I know there is a points hook for the superfarms that day so im not expecting any to show up. So I guess to really answer your question, anything can pull in it, but whos going to show up? Im not sure about that

Re: Attica Ohio Pull June 25 June 10, 2011 11:58PM
So if I show up for the 6500 class with a high-reving NA tractor with a cage, blanket etc. thats OK right? I just dont want to be thrown out b/c it doesnt appear to be from the "farm". I may just come out there, never been there before. Thanks

Re: Attica Ohio Pull June 25 June 11, 2011 03:58AM
Yes sir, you will not be thrown out. Im the one who will be working at the scales, so I will be doing all the tech work involved with the pull. We try to make our pull fun and laid back. All the guys always do a great job with the track too, it really hooks up, ive pulled there for many years before I stopped pulling. Thanks and I hope to see you there. 6500 tractor class will be the first class to pull.

Re: Attica Ohio Pull June 25 June 11, 2011 06:56AM
How about v8's in the 6500?

Re: Attica Ohio Pull June 25 June 11, 2011 06:59AM
Yea jason, the v-8's can pull in that class too. I know of one that will be there already. Did you get your new tractor done jason?

Re: Attica Ohio Pull June 25 June 21, 2011 03:40PM
So im trying to figure out how good of a turn out there will be. Ive had a few guys call me already, but I was just wondering how many guys are showing up?

Re: Attica Ohio Pull June 25 June 10, 2011 06:05PM
Really, the biggest hold back in the mod farm class will be no cut tires. In the past we and other people felt there were to many superfarms and hot farms with cut tires in the 12000 pound class. And there were a lot more tractors that wanted to pull in that class that did have cut tires, even quite a few that run the stock speed limit class run that class. So id have to say a mod farm is in between a farm tractor and a hot farm. The biggest thing we will be looking for is to make sure there are no cut tires in this class. I guess tell me what you have and we can go from there.

There has been some intrest in a super modified truck class. I was just wondering if there was any intrest in this class, mostly to pull in but also watch?

Re: Attica Ohio Pull June 25 June 16, 2011 03:33PM
There has been some questions about weight brackets in the truck classes. In ALL truck classes you will be able to run a weight bracket, even if nadm rules say you cant. That is one rule we are getting away from, mostly because of insurance purposes.

Re: Attica Ohio Pull June 25 June 19, 2011 03:22PM
Just so everyone knows all trucks in the street legal class, the workstock class and the 2.6 class will be looked over and checked by a tech.

Ohio pro farm rule change June 22, 2011 03:40PM
All of you guys that used to pull pro farm and even the new pro farm tractors are welcome to come over. We have classes for both sets of tractors, yoi have your choice of cut tires or non cut tire classes. Just so you guys know you are all invited.

Re: Attica Ohio Pull June 25 June 23, 2011 01:25PM
What is the order of the pull going to be? I want to run the 11000 stock tractor class and the 12000 modified farm class, im glad you guys went to no cut tires in the 12000 class this year.

Re: Attica Ohio Pull June 25 June 24, 2011 11:34AM
The order of pull will be
6500 open tractor
8500 open tractor
11000 stock tractor
10000 open tractor
6500 street legal gas trucks
12000 modified farm
6500 open gas class
8000 workstock
8000 2.6
