Sascha, what happened to the procharger?

Re: light mod at it's best June 15, 2011 02:15PM
Lite mods are cool, But there can not be any rules other than weight, 5,500 pounds max, no nitro, nitrus, and turn them loose!!! may take a few years to grow it, but it would work if you could keep the crybabies from getting/setting the rules to there liking!!!!! set it in stone for say, 10 years. Something has to be better than the current mod classes that hardly anyone can afford now. TWD class killed the light mod class years ago, now is the time to bring it back!!! Who is with me???!!!!

It works - excellent!
We need to redesign the adaption from the Allison supercharger drive to the Pro Charger drive though.
A) it didn't survive a BAD acceleration at the pull last week and to finally get it done "right" we need time to get gear material forged and worked on. Trouble is, our fabrication economy is kinda overheated and can't find enough people to hire. If you want anything done, they basically all tell you to call again in winter...
So we are thinking "belt" at the moment

Cool the current drive won't allow the use of the F4 - tractor would get too long. This again makes us think "belt" - and maybe move the charger somewhere else.
Dirk is already putting some ideas on CAD. We shall see what will happen.
