Anything that involves using I29 in Iowa is a lost cause. Iowa's DOT site & their road maps are up to date, & they have links to Nebraska to see what's closed there.

We are in SW IA and pulled out in Western NE last weekend. If you can make it to Hwy 2 or Hwy 34 in IA you can hop on I29 North to I80 and head out. I29 North and South bound closed from Hamburg, IA (right near the border) down to around Rock Port, MO is closed. Other then that you should be good unless things take a severe turn for the worst.
