The Green Acres flyer/ad had an error in it. It did not list the Limited ProStock class.
Burlington Junction will be having the 9200 Limited ProStock class. The limits are 466cid with a 3x4 turbo or 640cid with a 3x3 turbo. |

All state level associations have had Limited ProStock classes in one form or another with varying rules for years before the 4.1 Limited ProStock came around. 4.1 Limited ProStock is a relatively new class in pulling. When towns run the 4.1 Limited ProStock, they will generally advertise it as "4.1 Limited ProStock".
I don't think you're going to get all the organizations to rewrite their rulebooks just because the 4.1 Limited ProStocks have come on the scene. |

Well said, but
|
Now that Outlaws started the 4.1 Limited Pro Stock class 4 years ago, and some other associations such as Nebraska Bush & East Central Missouri Truck & Tractor started the class since then, it is going to get confussing for some fans. When they think they are paying admission for the 4.1 Limited class, and instead see some form of super farm or pro field 466 classes, they may not be happy. Just my two cents on the future. |

As Stephen said though, most places advertise the 4.1's as 4.1 limited pros, The same fan that would get confused by the whole 4.1/limited pro delima wouldnt know the difference between a superfarm and a limited pro anyway. Perhaps it is not the job of everyone else to change just because the 4.1 class has came on strong in the last few years. Twin states has been advertising limited pro classes for two decades and you think they should change? East central has both a limited pro class and a 4.1 limited pro class so what should they do? maybe we could call the 4.1's 4.1" super limited pro stockers? |
