A beefed up 4430 quad probably gives up around a 1000hp.

You put more clutch disks in the 2 spd.

Stock quad range has been holdn up for four years at 450 hp. The clutch is what wont hold being stock for very long.

I would agree the clutch will give long before the quadrange.

a five or six disc clutch modifications seems to handle about 150hp per disc ( 4 primary disk, 2 pto clutch disk), in applications I'm familiar with. Those mods do take some machining modifications for the stock divider plates. I've seen plans for an 8 disc unit, with about a .750 increase in total unit depth for the clutch, but that clutch could well overpower an upgraded two speed unit, which would sort of make a clutch beyond six disc impractical, if done solely to maintain the shift on the go function.

Once saw a "beefed up" two speed almost cut a tractor in half. Parts flew 75 yards. Tractor had 600hp though. Miraculously nobody got hurt. Anything over 450hp, get rid of it for safety's sake. Just my humble opinion.
