Re: dyno run gone bad July 11, 2011 12:59PM
It was a 5.9 Cummins truck motor...

Re: dyno run gone bad July 11, 2011 01:50PM
it was a bigger displacement B series cummins, i think it was a 5.9 block, dont think it was a 6.7 but I know it wasnt 5.9L. split the top half of the block off. The kid who owned it wasnt very old either. He always had a strong running truck

Re: dyno run gone bad July 11, 2011 02:18PM
was that just a single charger?

Re: dyno run gone bad July 11, 2011 04:49PM
That looks like Salenbiens shop.

Re: dyno run gone bad July 11, 2011 05:20PM
where's the cables at,might of saved some damage..

Re: dyno run gone bad July 13, 2011 11:52AM
Cables wouldn't have prevented much. A few hoses and lines, but most of that would need to be replaced anyhow. What would have helped more was shutting it down when it started to lift. See how the exhaust started to move and then started puffing out of front? That would have been the time to let off the throttle. Dyno operator was a little slow to react.

Re: dyno run gone bad July 14, 2011 02:00AM
I'd say he was plenty slow to react. That thing started sounding bad WAY before it let loose.

Gary, When you gonna come back and kick some A$$ like you used too? Pulling has'nt been as fun to watch since you sold your ride! You need to get another one on the track!

At Wyoming several people asked when I was getting another tractor. I do need something to mow the weeds around the shop. Rumor going around that I am putting something together.
