GM stopping production of gas and diesel powered autos January 28, 2021 11:04AM
On the radio today at 6:00, WLW that GM was going to stop production of gas and diesel power autos and all plants be renewable energy powered by 2035. Bail out pressure? Will Dodge be next? Or did I hear that wrong?

Yes its true GM plans to be totally electric by 35. Volkswagen has plans to be full electric in 5 years 2026.
I wonder how these trucks are gonna tow our freight. Yes I know some people are gonna say freight trains are electric. Yes they are but are powered by diesel engines not batteries. If a freight truck were to be powered by electric and batteries, they would weigh so much that they would not be able to haul much freight if any if they still have the 80000 lb. Road limit. What a joke!

I can’t imagine backing on to trailers with an electric pickup. I can’t believe it would even work
