You will never find a company to build a box 3x4! Why would they? Sell 1 turbo for years of service when people will pay 6-7k every 6 months to a year for the promise of another 20-40hp. That’s just bad business!

I’ll agree I wouldn’t go see monster trucks if it wasn’t for my kids liking them! However there are plenty of adults who do. It’s all in what you like personally. You have proven my first point during this conversation. You don’t like monster trucks so you don’t care if others do. That’s exactly why pulling doesn’t grow. It’s not about what we want, it’s about what the paying fans want! More fans

Because they made it fun for the kids. What kid doesn’t love tractors growing up? Even city kids have matchbox farms in the backyard, or play farming simulator on the computer. As for cheap entertainment, have you purchased a monster jam ticket lately? $45 per person isn’t really cheap, then you have to walk by all the overpriced merchandise, most likely getting each kid a souvenir. Add on a over

The biggest factor restricting pulling growing as a sport is the inability to embrace change. Look at every single event that tries something different, it’s barely over and somebody is on here crying because it’s not what “they” like. For pulling to ever grow one simple concept has to be understood: it does not matter what we as pullers want. What matters is what the fans want. Everytime someone

I agree completely with supertiquer that those look pretty risky. Mine were kinda that shape but they were designed to slide on from the side. Had a odd looking multiple slot setup but by breaking a little sliver out it allowed me to hand them on my front bar. I bought them at auction, they said they were for a magnum but they didn’t look like that.

I ran 10 magnum weights on the nose for years with no problem. Just take a hammer and break the oddball sliver off. They will hang right on a factory IH bracket after that. Used to launch 3-4 feet in the air every hook. Never lost one or broke one. I’ve seen a lot of them on the rear of tractors too. Probably a lot smoother ride back there and they are not as visible if you don’t like the appeara

ITPA never did away with the farmstock class. It evolved into 9500 profarm. Most farm stock classes have or will sooner or later evolve into the same thing. I started out with a rotary pump farmstock, I have absolutely no desire to go backwards. Having run both classes I can attest that farmstock was no cheaper, and had far less safety.

The harsh reality is that if you want a proven combo your going to have to pay for it. Nobody who has spent years developing a good recipe is going to give it away for free. You need to ask around and talk to the builders. See which ones you like and how their ideas fit your budget. There are guys that do it because they love it and guys that do it to get into your wallet, neither of which are go

I welded D rings to 4 plates. Mounted one on each side of the rear tires. Then I made plates under the trailer to catch 4 crossmembers each. Bolted everything down and that’s how we roll. 1 6” strap over each rear wheel. Tractor has never moved a fraction of a inch. I do unstrap it as soon as we get home and air up the tires to avoid any flat spotting

As with everything there is always room for improvement in some areas. Given the circumstances I think we all owe Klint Tucker and his whole crew a huge thank you! They really stuck their necks out to put this event on despite everything going on and we should be nothing but thankful. I’m sure if they decide to stay in shipshiwanna any legitimate issues or kinks will be worked out. Whichever venu

Turn the hub around and put it on the outside of the wheel until you can find different rims with the correct backspace. It’s a pain to remove the rims but it will narrow you up as much as possible for now

In my experience the only thing pre turbo water will do is lower the exhaust temperature. If your getting enough fuel and your pump timing is right you don’t need it. If you want to build power and your rules allow you’ll need at least 1000 psi, and blow it in after the turbo

Most clubs with a box gt42 rule also have to be sealed. Spend all the money you want on modified parts but when you take it in to have their seal put on it they will disassemble it, inspect it, reassemble it and then seal it. If it's not pure factory you wont get a seal and you wont hook with them.
