Had the Stompers but the stomper sled was too light for the stomper Semi.
Built sled from meccano erector set.
Wire the stomper semi to a 6 volt lantern battery and it would full pull the 8ft pool table with 3 pool balls on the pan and the 6 volt battery in the transfer box.

I owe a lot to my wife who supports my pulling videographer habit.
She attends most pulls and is usually close by in her chair in the sun with a book but supplies food and drink

She also handles a lot of the night time driving duties home or to another event.

Dave , thanks for the Cayuga 80 flashback. That was the first NTPA pull we ever competed at. Unfortunately poor performance kept us out of camera range.

Dave,
The Dog Gone Allis was Mac MacPhail from Perth Ontario.
The Jack McCooeye 180 you mentioned in earlier post became Dog Gone Allis in 1980.
The black and orange 180's from Vermont were owned by Mike Reed, Pied Piper Orange, Pied Piper Black,
and also Pied Piper D-17. Mike also had a D-21 for awhile.

We also apply the soapy water before each pass it helps to keep things cool and prevent melting rubber onto the blade.

When you say fine tooth are you refering to the tooth being narrower across the top and tooth face has more curve ?
We encountered one this year, first one of maybe seven different we have looked in over the years. Were they used in a particular time frame or specific model ?
Thanks

Crutch hit most of the details I try for. Sometimes if there is an open type bleacher a position on the top row works well preferrably at an end rail. This sometimes will get you clear of the other crews that like to gather trackside and block your shot. For this position I use a 2x spin-on lens with 10x built in to camera. Setting up around 300ft lets you go continuous wide and then maybe a litt
