Personally, I think the one-track format is the path they will stick with. Traditionally we have had as many as 75-80 hooks, not including pulloffs or resets, etc. It can make for a long night at times, but Chapel Hill is none for their five classes and the fans know what to expect. This year the numbers were down a bit as most years several PPL competitors have been invited to compete. I lov

Some of the confusion may be completely my fault as I mentioned we would float to 350 and anyone by that distance would be coming back in a pulloff. That statement is misleading on my part for sure, as ultimately the full pull distance was a flat 350. That was the first NTPA GN pull I have worked this year where a Pulloff was contested.

The event has really taken shape over the course of the last five days. There is a full schedule of different events going on at the Motorsports Park but with some further involvement from the Boyd's, Mr. Conny, and several amazing sponsors the pull will be a tremendous payday for the Pro Stock guys. Advertising is truly just beginning as the final posters were completed late yesterday.

The folks at C Bar C did a great job again working to bring a pull and experience to the fans. The concerts in between the session Saturday and attention to detail really leave a strong lasting impression.
As for the struggles Friday Night, the crew had been limping the generator through nearly the entire session. The CAT Mechanic was called in but they couldn't get the problem solved

Wow narrowing the field to 24 is very tough. There are some top level trucks that are not going to be competing.

Saturday Night at Chapel Hill was a pretty neat experience. I am glad I was there to witness Camille claiming her first GN win and recovering from her tough luck earlier this season.

I was involved in the design process, and these shirts were sold exclusively by Red Essentials. Red Essentials is an official Case IH apparel company, and they wanted to bring a neat shirt to the Farm Show that highlighted some of the history from the event about the IH brand. The Farm Show itself had several different shirts for sale within the confines of Freedom Hall, and they had all varieti
