It sounds like what you are trying to do is keep the turbo spinning and developing boost as you lug the engine to a lower rpm. I've seen studies showing that biodiesel has a very high lubricity value, even in very low concentration blends. B5 or B10 would be your best bet for a fuel system lubricant IMO. It will fit with some modification, if you convert the 40 Detroit to a single idler gear. In stock form the 40 Detroit/NGD has a 2 idler gear setup and I don't think that will fit in the 414 cover. Does that have the pump that bolts in the back of the final drive housing like a 970? We rebuilt one once and found that the O-ring on the suction side of the pump was knicked, it let the pump suck air and it starved everything of oil. I think they put the O-ring on the pump and jammed it into the housing and sliced it, instead of seating the O-ring in the housing, and letting the tapered nipple

We are running it in a super farm, and a lot of what you have seen here is true, here are all of my observations.
1. The raw fuel will remove paint if not cleaned up immediately. If you work on the pump side of your engine a lot, forget about paint.

You will want a pedal clutch with a springer pressure plate. A full slipper will disengage at low RPM no matter how many weights you put on it. We use an Atlas 12.5" 3 disk.
