Lewis is great at stiring up the pot and causing controversy. There are some folks that can see IP addresses and know where the comments come from
I wasn’t going to say this, but what the heck. We are just a bunch of red necks from southern Ky and really don’t care who likes us or not. I really hope Lewis takes his 327 small block and his chevette and plays in the llss class and not the LT Hot F

I’ll try to explain for the 25th time. This class runs sanctioned with KTPA and every rule is locked in for 2018 with the exception of the rule for small engine RPM. It takes 100%. Vote of the paid ktpa class members to change it during the season. I foresee no changes in 2018. We are trying very hard to get the small engine rpm correct.
When the class started around 4 years ago we made some mi

Red Hot. Tell me where the A pumps were for sale that came from the class that were bigger than a 10mm. Hmm. Also the dyno has nothing to do with the turbo failure. Call me anytime 12706221657. Im sure you know everything about this class. I love it how you guys hide behind a bull crap name on here. Be a man and post your real name.

Big Joe. I'm not the expert, but what we do for our 6000 LT Hot Farm class is set the transmissions up for 3 gears. It a splitter setup. I usually use heavy gearing, billet input shaft with needle assembly, also run needle assembly In the hog head with pressure lube. Requires some machine work for it all too work. I sell a kit that we use for our class. You'll be fine on weight for a 6

Big Joe, Id use a 400-560 rear and transmission for LT Hot farm. My opinion the 300-350 will not handle the torque and possibly crack around the bull pinion brake shafts.

Hey "was there". I was there too last night in central city. A couple of the tractors in the class did have some issues. Issues do come with any pulling class. All the tractors ran 23-24 mph down the track. That was probably one of the tightest tracks the class had ran on before. We will all try a little harder to do better for you next time. Just my 2 cents.

The LT hot farm class in Kentucky may appear to be all Red at the moment, but that's changing. There will be a Ford running this weekend with Ktpa in Central City. There is an Allis, Oliver, Massey, and JD are on the way.

For your original comment about the class, I'm very aware it's a red show right now but anyone is more than welcome to be a part of the class, any color, just a matter of someone building one. I want to thank ktpa for picking up the 6000 LT hot farm as a sanction class for 2017. The class must be doing something right for the number of shows booked in 2017 (around 23 hooks right now).

Ford tractor... There is a 1% tolerance added to the cubic inch limits. This was added to maybe help get more color in the class. We had a puller looking at ford with 401 engine for the class. A 1% tolerance is somewhat standard in most classes. Bryan and I talked today about the class. Good luck with your project.

We can build you a 400 or 560 rear that will work fine. We will give you 3 gears to choose from. Most of our LT Hot Farm chassis weight between 5000 - 5400lb, depending on options.
