The rules have changed in the last four years that allow us to run different intakes now so that made it easier for the v8 to be in the class. The v8 where never banned just couldn't keep up with the stock intake manifold restriction.

Definitely do not keep the tub I've seen too many of them break. And I'm not sure if it's even legal to have the cast tubs anyway might want to check into that. I second Brad at Maibach Tractor for the rear end/trans setup.

I know Maxxima made the lights you are talking about but I can't find a part number for them anymore. I will look sometime this week at the one I have to see if it has a part number. I do know that they have a oval one still available that is half amber and half white.

Why don't the committee just buy boxed turbos seal them and give it to the pullers to use for the one or two hooks and then we give them back after the finals. That way they can eat the expense of the turbo instead of the pullers having to buy multiple turbos a year. Why do we need to buy a turbo for one hook. When we cant even use that turbo in any other organization.

It does matter where the sled starts, if the sled starts two feet ahead of the line and the puller falls in the last persons holes then he is technically two feet short of the last person but ended in the same spot at the finish line/sand pile

That happened to me in North Carolina where the sled didn't stop in the same spot when he went back and I fell into someone else holes and was still 5ft short of him. The sled needs to have a 6x6 block to back up against to make it fair for everyone.

No Bounce is right 8-12 psi all depends on the track conditions, harder the track harder the tire. Too much air and you will lose bite. You won't lose 4-8 inches of hight with a softer tire.
