It says on the Tomah poster it was $8. 2023 is $25. That's not exactly 4x appreciation as posted above for the purses. I have one sponsor, and it isn't even for cash it is for supplies. I suppose we have been too focused on quality to worry about sponsors coming along for the ride. Sponsors pulled out with Phillip Morris so blame their lawyers. That was the pin holding the cart t

"So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today." Matthew 6:34. A lot of people won't subscribe to this, but it is stated time and time again in the good book and plenty of other books out there. This is my business and so I like to think the sport would be there for me in 7 (2030), 10, 20 years, and beyond. If I still enjoy it a

So the first thing I consider is the promoter. Not me, not the fans, not the action coming to the pull. The promoter is the one putting their neck on the line. Not anyone else. We fuss and complain about how much it cost getting to pulls, food, and event food, but those complaints are felt by all involved life cost more now than ever. And this isn't just a pulling issue, this is a world

So with as much reach as we have been uploading pulling videos, we were approached by several groups outside of the United States about streaming. WWPTV.plus published 50 live events solely for the sake that these upbeat events have music, disco, and plenty of action, things Facebook and YouTube do not like. For $24.99/month, you can watch all streams and all videos we upload to Facebook and Yo

The SVTPA is a Garden Pulling association. There is nothing wrong with garden pulling but, I don't think SVTPA needs to be a selling point for PPL in your list.
Also, Mid Florida needs to be added to your list. And I have heard from several pullers that the events have continued to run smoothly for them. I am biased toward those guys because I have gotten to know both Rodney Swift an

For tech savy guys and gals out there: Black Magic Davinci Resolve. Completely free unless you want to do super-advanced stuff
iMovie is free on iDevices and for splicing footage, it is incredible.
GoPro has its own, but it is for splicing highlights of footage. It doesn't tell a story accurately.
Windows Moviemaker is hokey but if you are on Windows, it is free.

And I don't know that I ever edited the second night of footage. I think because I never got the results. Note to promoters: "post them somewhere online or social media". There were gone from the board by the time I was done filming and packed up.

I do not think anyone wants to go to a Euro-style show in the states. But we have dirt and each competitor deserves the best chance at the same track as the first hook of a given class. I do not think anyone wants to go to pavement pulling! ANYONE!!! Kids have been playing in dirt since age 3 and now grown men and women still get the chance to do it every Saturday night.

We both know this is not a perfect world. I edited my post to ensure clarity about the $125,000 figure. That is what I was told by the powers that back in 2014. I am overly optimistic and think there are good days ahead for us, pulling, fans, and Motorsports as a whole assuming there are no bans on Racing in the near future.
Happy Holidays to you too Doc!

These are some good friends of mine. And I talk to them regularly. One puller told me, "these are some of the most tuned vehicles around." They can weight down and run Pro Farm, they can run Dragon Hot Farm or Pro Farm depending on weight and turbo. With 30 minutes of alteration, they can go pull anywhere and be competitive. You will not jump into the 466 Hot Farm class if you do not know wh

Sled is 32,000 LB dry 200 LB for the operator. And 2,000 for each block as I am sure you already know. I have filmed Unlimiteds with as much as 58,000 LBs total weight. I would love for communication to happen like I am running 4 blocks so 40,000 LBs would be told to the fans. Then when they see a more powerful class, "Now this class is pulling 44,000 LB which at the other end of the track is

Chris and his daughter Shayleigh joined the WWPTV team a number of years ago. Funny story, they have my very first camera a Canon G20. I told them I can upgrade him, but they don't want to turn it in. They had some weather issues this year and a lot of farming to do so they didn't get as much content as they would have liked. We will light a fire under them for 2020!

We were making about $0.0035 per view. Kind of jealous and John making $0.008. That is roughly $3500 per million views. And we have over 15 Million views and 50 Million minutes watched in 7 years. That is $43,000 on YouTube and about $35,000 on Facebook. For those of you who don't know I was a government contractor and now I am not. It cost so much to live here about 25 miles south of

So as a guy who films at the highest levels in Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina I can tell you that it isn't the guys filming per se. If I asked a promoter to cover me to film and edit all footage, there is no way they could justify that expense I have been told. My rate for just me is $200 a night and $100 more if they want their sponsor's logos in it. Some guy

I don't want to forecast, but that company is dying quickly and for that matter the whole wearable market. The latest camera has economist predicting the company's doom. It is going to cost ~$398. Got a class of 6 red power in our Pro Farm class. People don't watch it like they do other stuff. You need diversity when it comes to brand. The fan needs to see a difference in the vehicles. I joke with my guys and tell em that I will put a blue filter on your vehicle, a green one for yours, and an orange one for yours. But if you ask them, they want more diversity and that comes up al

I had the opportunity to film this team in Benson. As my first time filming them, I was blown away. The sound is just amazing. I told one of the guys at NTPA, it just sounds way different. I tell my brush pullers this all the time, "if you want to get serious about points and purses, make one to measure and one to rake!" If you watch a single puller team, they have to be dead on. It is no s
