How do you guys feel about compression with a DT466 in pace classes, with a cam and 2.6 turbo? High as possible after valve reliefs?

I would just go 13mm. 11mm's are not made any more, 13mm are only made in high lift versions with big cc's. A used 13mm would be a good option. There is one in the for sale pages right now. I am not connected, or know anything about it.
13mm rotary pump, it’s a 380cc pump set at 3000rpm and do have a 3500rpm spring for it. $3200
Also have a cam for a dt414 that I was gonna us

Is this light rear end only found in 706 gas tractors, or in diesels, 806 etc as well?

That would work well. I have a 15 mph gear in mine with no torque. It does well.
That is what I'm hoping for, next is to decide what to put in 1st gear slot. 2.1 or 2.2?

Learning the tractor personality to match the driver, balance and more, - all the power and speed does no good not harnessed right
That is precisely what I'm trying to do, I have my balance down, I can't pull off 3rd gear consistently without a dq, 2nd is to slow, trying to get my custom gear ratio right the first time if I can to match my hp and driving skill/styl

15 or 16mph is ideal.
I'm eyeing up a gear(2.5 in my case) that will produce 15.2 ta ahead for the second gear slot vs. 15.5 3rd ta back like I've done. I'm hoping to come out of the hole easier with less rpm and the ta back, then shift ta ahead (rpms still low) then work in the throttle from this point.

2.8 gear with 69-70” tires, at 2950rpm is around 14mph high TA. Stock 3rd and stock cm is 16mph on the low side ta with 69-70” tires at 2950rpm, stock 3rd with 23/50 low side cm is around 17mph 69-70” tires at 2950rpm.
Really depends on the OP’s setup.
High 2nd is not going to cut it no matter the R&P for 12mph, not enough wheel speed, stock high 2nd is barely enough for 8mph

Thanks to all that have replied, I agree with above posts that faster than 12 mph capabilities are needed. I guess maybe my question should have been how fast, 13,14, 15mph. Looks like opinions vary based on tractor capabilities. I have pulled 3rd TA back, a 15.5 capable gear, I have the hp, just maybe not the driver skill yet to stay below 12mph, looking for a more driver friendly option I gues

Does anyone know the duration of a stock 414/436/466 flat tappet cam? I wanted to compare to my "improved stock" cam specs.
