Blocks are different. Hole for pump hub are different size and bolt pattern is bigger for p series pump. You will have to enlarge the hole and drill tap block for the new bolt pattern. It has been done and is semi common practice I would say

1, A very crude way To check sizes is use a torch cleaner as a feeler gauge to get a idea of size. You won’t know if it duel feed less you take apart and see the fuel passages. As far as holes 4-5 or 6 it is always around the very tip. None will be on the very point that was make it a junk.
2,you can just change out the tip and yes matching them to pump is important. For setting the pressure. B

I’m not a pump guy but I would say that’s to big. The pump won’t put out enough to fill the cavity fast enough in the injector and will retard your timing

I’m simply saying the only 3 things that should ever be be a limitation is rpm turbo and tires and or maybe intercooler if applys. If one color has a inline “A-P what ever” pump then they all should be able to run a inline pump. Because right now you have a 3000rpm 360ci 7000lbs stock class. Call it light Too hot to farm

What tractors are all pulling in the class? Seems like it’s a D360 and anything you can stick a 12 valve in class. This sounds like it would be a really fun class and being in south west PA would build one. But this and along with others are unfair when it comes to fuel systems. If you have to run a OEM pump any one other then a red or Cummins will be automatically 3 steps backwards. Limits to

The tuning can get a little tricky? Having a port and software less used off of a pickup say later 5.9 with EFI live software right in a OBDII port? But why not just put a electronic cummins in the tractor along with the harness/computer. But Every tractor manufacturer used a different “box” or software not cheap and easy to use as the pickup world
