Those 30" tires are quite light compears how wide they are, 137kg (factory weight)
Some 18.4 38" diagonal tires(Mitas) are light (115kg factory weight) when cutting out most of the rim, they would work.
But tire footbrit will be 45% smaller with those 38" than 30"
When we started to build tractor we just thought where is most strongest point to mount rolling bars but yeah we can move them to

Watched some of those videos whats the deal with the yellow sled nothing could pull it
This track is most difficult track for the season, look some other 2500kg videos (made by Sportsman)
Even those 2500kg can handle that sled.

...the first pull is in Finland Humpilla in 2500kg farmsport class and that class problem is the nose weight, not enought weight on nose and when you lift clutch pedal and nose up and then @#$%& start you can controll it
Honey Bear Team
Yes this run was in Finland Humpilla in 2500kg farmsport class.
Unfortunately we have only 40kg spare, and we don't have wheelie bar

We made our first run front of the sled, it was disaster! No control over the tractor, it was all over the track.
Right now we have factory diff with curved brass washers behind pinion gears, no needles at all. Planning to build diff with needle bearings.
How much difference is there, bearing behind the pinion gear or flat brass washer?

Hello,
This is our first tractor build.
On our first test day we discovered that after like 10 starts with no extra load, clutch starts to drag.
Definetly we need more clearence bethween disc and pressure plate.
video:
We are planning to use fastest gear for pulling (max 45 km/h, 28 mph) This is direct drive in gearbox and strongest, gearbox is quite weak.

Is there much pulling over in Estonia? I googled it, you’re right beside Russia.
Some years ago we tried to make 4 pulling events in year but there isn't enough interest of this here.
With this tractor we are planning to go compete in Finland.

Early in this spring when we were working on our new engine cylinder head we discovered that nozzles are spraying against the cylinder head. We lowered injectors 3mm to get injector height right.
Injector what we are using now have 150 degrees on spray pathern, original had 115 degrees.
At Least now I know why we made so little Hp when we were testing pump and nozzles.

Cooler came out like this, one core is 4.5" thick.
From engine side is going hot air in.

I came to this idiotic idea that my setup will be to big to my engine, that I need to hold air longer in the intercooler. That I need thinner cores but use them more so air can be move two times back and forth.
Air temperature should be something like 570-660F what is coming out from the turbo.

I'm making my tractor's intercooler now. I have room for maximum 20"x 16" x.... core. I was planning to mount 2 cores (back and forth)
local shop is offering me 3.7"x 20"x16" industrial cores.
I'm planning to use cheap China 80W 10"x2 + 7"x2 fans to push air and same set for pulling air through. They have to move air through water radiator to.

Tractor in my first post was my fiend tractor, we were just testing P7100.
We can use only stock cam 242/254 degrees of lift at 0, overlap is 36 degrees. But we are allowed to use adjustable cam sprocket.
We are going to use hx52 11cm2
This p7100 are using uper helix/higher noches on the plunger.

Many thanks for advice.
This is Russian tractor, it is very similar to Ford.
Factory timing setting for 2400 rpm are something like 24 degrees with stock inline injector pump. But stock pump are making much less injection pressure and 6 times less fuel. But with this timing it was really hard to start engine, it was kicking back.
Is there any easy way to figure out a way to what is best timing

Hello,
Last year we testid our new 12mm p7100 pump.
We used 3000rpm, p-7100 on 500cc, 5x0.6mm nozzles, holset hx40 super, 6 degrees of timing (I didn't realised that pump is advancing 10 degrees timing in full rack travel, but we weren't using so much fueling, max fueling is 600+cc.) Here is dyno run, we got only 300hp and 2000Nm
This is our friend tractor using 4.75 litre engine.

Hello.
I am building my first pulling tractor and I am in between two choices:
Holset HX52 Pro or Borg Warner S366 Yes I now they are different size, but what is the best choice for me.
Engine size is 290 cubic inch 4 cylinder, Max rpm is 3000. Right now I use 12mm P7100 maxed out pump.
In futute I'm planing to use 194 to 210 degrees cam. And 13mm pump.
Or some other turbo?
