You want someone's time for free because it's taking longer than agreed? Grow up. Nobody is entitled to anyone's time for nothing just because things didn't go as planned.
There is a 100% chance that the customer/op changed what they wanted done, those changes changed the completion date. I say this because that's the other side of the story that people that jump on

It may be a safety issue, but never have I seen someone get disqualified for something simply coming off, it has to hit the ground.
Then, if it's due to breakage, you can often get away with something hitting the ground.

While I have no preference on whether they are component or not, if they were allowed, how many component pro's would drop back or come back out and run that class?

You'd be better off finding good used OEM pistons and sleeves than looking for the cheapest new ones you can find.

The automotive world passed 1300 horse years ago with a single 75mm charger on pump gas with similar or less cubic inch at less than 20 lbs boost. I realize they have better heads, but they also don't run a fuel system designed in the caveman era like we do.

Fuel system isn't holding the horsepower back.
Not currently, but you can make quite a bit more power with the air you have available with better control and atomization of your fuel.

What would happen if someone built a diesel that ran equal to the alky tractors and used the same 3" smooth bore turbo?
What would happen if someone built a alky, thought outside the box on the fuel system, and made 30% more power?

I've seen P3000's with freeze plugs in the bottom.
Typically 7100's all have the same pilot diameters and driveshaft diameters.
3000's commonly have different pilot diameters, as well as both large and small driveshaft diameters.

Wooster May 12 we're going to have 3 classes with some hot farm oriented rules, 5500, 6500, 7500. 2.8 charger, 20.8 tires, and stock frame is the basics. When we get things printed up I'll post them here.

Tracey's bearings always looked perfect. The only exception to that is the end of last year. When it pushed the crank out and cracked the crank he didn't have another fully counter weighted crank ready to put in so he stuck a factory 6 counterweight crank in it to finish out the season. It was pretty hard on bearings for the rest of the year.
If I remember right the piece of 4140 h

The heck with "exhibition", take the normal amount of US tractors to the finals and add the Euro tractors also. That way all our guys have their fair shot at a spot in finals as they usually would, and the boys from across the pond have a legit chance to compete no matter what. If they put a spanking on us, then maybe it's time to learn a thing or two.

4 of the 7 streams? Are you sure they didn't use a nozzle for a 24V application? They were normally 7 hole and their spray pattern would do what you're describing. What's the Bosch number on the nozzle?

What's not right about you nozzles? What angle do the injectors sit in the head compared to the 8.3? What spray angle are your nozzles?

Are you using the stock 585 pistons? They take a pretty unique spray pattern, similar to a 478 Hercules.

I'm pretty sure there was provisions for spark plugs. We were't planning on a box turbo as far as I know, considering this was going to be a brush class. The only reason the 2.75 rule was put in was to weed out the 3.0 and larger LLSS tractors. I don't imagine that it's going to turn into a class with a huge following, it's just intended to keep 1500 horses out of th

We made rules for a 6500 hot farm class since the LLSS tractors have been pretty hard on the 6500 hot farm tractors. 6500, 2.75 turbo if I remember right, 20.8 tires. I think they were going to be used by Buckeye Power Productions, but don't quote me on that. I was just involved in making up rules catering to the true hot farm/modified/ect 6500 tractors.

I know of one lightweight D21 that had aluminum rear end and axle housings. That's not LLSS legal. Not saying that it can't be done legally, I don't know, but just because it's been done for one class doesn't mean it can be done and be legal in another class.

90% of the cryo parts I have been around have broken quicker than non cryo versions, mostly driveline parts. It depends on what it is and how it's used. Contrary to what cryo salesman seem to claim, it's best for high wear items. Brake rotors, manufacturing dies, ect. I wouldn't consider having rods cryo treated, or other parts of that nature. If it's high wear, cryo it. If

I'm not discouraging safety equipment, but requiring a cage, wide front, and ski's in the 6500 cost you about 10 hooks. Those same tractors ran the 7700 without those items.
Great pull otherwise, surprisingly good track, good sled settings, and things moved along quickly.
