Re: Mitas - 1 year ago
I don't understand everyone's desire to make this overly complicated. I don't care what PSI it's measured at or what the ambient air temperature is or what the rim width when measured is. NONE of those things really matter, they are completely irrelevant variable as long as it's legal circumference (height just like drawbar really) when they are scaled. I'm not even 100% sure why the tires are illegal. Has the NTPA been completely transparent on what was wrong with the tires? So with that said, I agree that rules should be enforced or changed (especially if the rule make no sense or is outdated). If the rule being violated is the circumference of the tire before cutting... change the rule, it's completely idiotic. The BEFORE cuttby Jake Morgan - Forum

Bryan, I offered a solution in the last sentience: don't cave-in and do not comply. That in the ONLY solution. That's not acquiescing to the radical environmentalists, that's simply saying no. Bryan, I have to respectfully disagree. I think we're past "renewable fuels". I don't think that's what the radical environmentalist want. They don't see that as "green" anymore. Zero emissions will NEVER be a reality. It's simply a way to add a green tax to everything. That said, they will come after motorsports for emissions at some point. QuoteJohn Murray Here’s a fun question: what is the maximum weight that a Light Limited Super Stock should weigh? It shouldn't be too much over 8,000 lbs. Unless of course they give them bigger turbos, then it should stay under 10,000 lbs. It should be a 6,000 lb. class at a maximum (too bad it's already more almost everywhere). Of course that means it will likely go to 6,847 lbby Jake Morgan - Forum
Re: Let's try this payout questions again - 1 year ago
Personally I don't think there should be closed pits at any event. You can go to the largest pull in the world (Bowling Green) and wander around in the pits. You should be able to wander around in the pits at EVERY event. If BG can do it I'm sure every regional/state/brush pull can manage to do the same. Re: Let's try this payout questions again - 1 year ago
Yes, some pullers abused the rule... that's why it needs to be in the contract. The contract protects both parties and should make it clear. The entertainers should not have to pay at an event where they entertain. EVER. It's just basic logic. There should be a set number of free passes per pulling vehicle (not per hauler).by Jake Morgan - Forum
Re: Let's try this payout questions again - 1 year ago
Pullers paying to get into events... it should NEVER EVER happen. NEVER. Every organization should have clear wording in the contract that states that pullers will not pay a gate fee to the pull or the fair and will receive X number of free passes per competition vehicle they're hauling. This is so easily solved in a contract. If there's any issue at the gate it should be quickly coby Jake Morgan - Forum

The combine motors still swing a stock crank from a 2wd tractor motor. A JD466 out of a combine swings the same crank as a JD466 from a tractor. The IH guys can use 360, 466 truck blocks because they swing the stock cranks from tractors. Ford guys use a 474 from a truck but it can swing the stock 401 or 456 crank so its legal. Neither of those were ever in production. IH had a turbine division and a prototype turbine powered tractor but that doesn't make it legal in ANY tractor class other than Mods.
