And it would be nice to actually have a full pull mark and a couple of pulloffs!
It's Bowling Green for the National Championship, you damn well better be prepared to do a pulloff if you're a puller.
Granted I hope one day the pullers are compensated accordingly

I can understand why people might want to hear that supercharger whine, but I don’t want it to dominate the sound of a Pro Stock or Super Stock.
AMEN BROTHER!
Give me the smell of diesel fuel and the sound of the turbos!
Love the sound of the superchargers and mostly hemi engines but keep it far away from the pro stock/super stock classes

If you're someone who enjoys walking through the pits to look at the pulling vehicles (who doesn't), there is no better place than BG! I live a couple miles east of Bowling Green and usually spend Thursday just walking the pits and usually sit down for a bit in the evening to watch the pulls, and then spend Friday and Saturday in the stands most of the time. You could very easily make a

If it weren't for personal liability reasons, I've thought about doing that with a farm stocker. I can't think off hand of a better way to promote the sport in a new direction. I applaud the beer Money team for doing it. Pocono Racetrack gives expensive stock car drives every day. They give a training class and then put you in the driver's seat. It's certainly o

Well, Dick, with that, about all you will see is a very predominant red IH (square boxy 66) class with some green JD and just about close to nothing of any other tractor brand.
At least with the cross dressing sheet metal rule, we do get to see some other brands, which is good.
This argument baffles me. Drive down any country road during plant/harvest time and you'll

The two worst classes on the GN circuit are SF and TWD trucks. Based on nothing more than crowd reaction and amount of people who leave their seats during them.
I'd be okay with dropping SF from the GN circuit and trying 4.1 for a year. I would have slightly more interest in 4.1s than I would SF but it still wouldn't be a class I'd go out of my way to watch. I think a pretty goo

I don't agree that a friendly comparison is harmful to the sport. There are rivalries in all aspects of sport. Heck the what makes sports interesting. Red vs Green was one of the things that made the sport exciting.
Rivalries amongst competitors I support 1000% but comparing organizations and pitting one against the other is not good in any way for the sport.

It also seems worth mentioning that the tractors that ran PPL in the past are dominating the NTPA currently. Simons and Injected Funds (old Simon tractor) are leading the points followed by Billet Binder. The Masterson team hasn't ran NTPA points but have won every NTPA event they've been at. The legacy NTPA pullers if you will are getting their butts handed to them. The Schmuckers and

The pro stock points battles will be fun to watch as well as the individual families throwing down for bragging rights. I think the Masterson Team is top dog right now but I'm excited to watch others try to beat them the rest of the summer. Quite a few pro stock hooks left on the schedule.
Bowling Green is going to be a fun one as usual!

There's a double edged sword here. On one hand the sponsors that the sport does have should be celebrated via announcers, flags, signs, stickers on the pulling vehicles. On the other hand, these pullers don't seem to benefit from the sponsors as the purses at these pulls aren't enough to pay for the diesel in their toter to get to the pull. Which begs the questions who benefits fro

I totally agree with the sediment that this will get worse. Money can't be used as the reason to separate into a million classes anymore as people have driven the price of all the aforementioned classes up to the point of craziness. The final answer to this debate should be at the GN level run SF, and pro stock. At the RN level combine light and limited pro and eliminate the 5.0 PS class (it

The Walsh's are set up to pull with the Pro Pulling League who has not had a pull for the modified tractors yet this year. I think Henry IL in 3 weeks is the first one. (PPL schedule this year is a bit odd, though I assume its because they lost several of their June pulls (Benson and Farley).

Video quality for the pull was fantastic but next year either make sure we hear the sound of the tractors at all times or tell Charles and Jason to shut their mouthes so we can hear the turbos spooling up. It seems the idea was to mute the background noise while the announcers were speaking which sounds good in theory except that myself and many others would much rather hear the tractors than Jas

Interesting information gathered from this list today.
Pro Stock class loses the Simons.
Unlimited Super Stock class loses the Blackbourns.
Numbers for the pro stock class arent bad but the USS class is looking rough.
On a positive note, Greyson Shelton has a pro stock now?

These are no longer wallering torque machines, with no speed. They are the headliners. Masterson vs. Boyd. One of these two brought us into this era. I'll let you guys argue over it.

I'm not sure we will ever know the truth on this matter. However, my personal belief is that there is no logical way that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone. I think its very possible he had ties to the CIA or Russia. We know that Oswald went to Russia and lived there for a while, also married a Russian woman. My guess is that JFK was killed by the same people who killed Jeffrey Epstein.

They said they plan to run region 2 which I believe to mean it is a 5.0? But maybe not. Would also be interested in hearing what tractor they purchased. It appears based on the pictures to have an Outlaws logo on the frame so the options for what they bought cant be too large.
