On just last sentence Dick , I will say there are some pulls that really appreciate the pullers, but on the other hand some events charge the pullers at the gate to put on a show that the promoter has all ready paid for. I feel we are there to put this show on and spent money on are equipment to put a good show on . Make it easier to get access to the pullers for the fan that's interested .

My guess is there talking about Badger State and the overlap in Freeport, IL and Barrabo, Wis on July 12. I think that Freeport is a champions tour hook which is not a points hook for the Badger State guys.

To gonz, these are the National Rules, most clubs are pretty close in these rules. Some use difference in weight and turbos.

As we were told Allis did use a Detroit motor in some track tractors in the early 60's. Three year ago when we added alcohol tractors we also changed what engines could be used for decubing and the sheet metal as to be board approved . So we slowly coming out of the dark ages as some of you say we are in.

Congrats to Brian Miller on a finals win. No matter what the rules are it's hard to win in the finals. As John listed a group of 20 , I guess we all had a chance to go and pull . I look at it this way , everyone that pulls a LLSS tractor has chance to win on any given day. It does matter if you pull a alcohol or diesel. All this bickering make this class look bad. Good luck to everyone in th

The National Rules have been out for Three years now. Call the the clubs reps that are running LLSS rules and ask questions. They will tell what's working , and I believe that most will give you a honest answer.

So the 1%rules allows tractors to be over cubed with a cubic inch limit? That's good to know.

Why would you over bore if there's a cube limit?

I have had my 410 apart a cleaned up . It will not give my an extra 4 cubes. This 1% rule is overrated. Should be no tolerance on cubic inch

Let's not change a good thing, the rules are working even though there are different weight rules for different clubs which doesn't cost much to change. But the way I see it I c

We we're told last year that is was Gordyville rules with a weight difference of a 100 pound between the two fuels. The rules are petty vague for the engine rules . OEM engine but doesn't get into the head rules. Maybe with this discussion Clint might come out with more in depth wording on these rules.

I think it's just not the PPL Western Series, your talking about Gordyville, and all the indoor pulls. All ready getting calls on this. Guys will quit if this rule is implemented or just won't go to events with this rule. This is just a bad idea.

So why does this class need this? There's classes out if you what to build component and aftermarket heads. For you guys that don't post names , have a little guts before you post rules you think needs changing.

Doesn't the Nytpa have it's own rules on cheating? Why should PPL take care of the problem that happened with in the club or did it happen in a Champion Tour? We have rules set in place for this. First offence , your done for a year and then days with a reinstatement fee of 5000 . Second offence is 10000 on reinstatement fee. Third time your done for life.

I think everyone knows everyone's view on this class. Why keep talking in circles? By now we should know where the rules are different for each club and what works for each club. The only way to see this is to run with other groups. This is a great class to pull in and be a part of.

This is no one's fault. I would love to see rules the same especially up here northern part of the states. But I don't see that happening soon, to many proud and stubborn pullers. I have read alot of rules from many different clubs since getting on the board , and some make sense and some leave me scratching my head. These to fuels can run together , but there is always going to be a di
