BECAUSE some ask what our weight was and my response was BSTP basic rules for our the class , I never pushed any Turbo rules . Did make mention of turbos used now in classes all ready running in every club that has a LLSS class . But hey at least we posted under our real names

Guys this post started off as , will the LLSS class ever get big events. Ok now some clubs run 6000 # some 6250 and Some 6500 . Ok . The point wihich everyone miss is that I stated if big events ,so everyone can be evolved and have a chance to pull at Tomah or Farm Machinery show Mackville or Hillsbouro if they chose our class should be at 6250. Because everyone should be able to make that wei

Call me , and with a real name , and with out hiding behind a computer . One thing being a class rep, I will stick up for our guys . Our rules never changed for 22 years in BSTP , then the alcohol were added and we have been bad mouthed for our options and just because we chose a weight difference over Turbo. I have never pushed a weight difference on anyone in this post , I said there need to be

Wow , I thought I asked a simple question and you go hog wild? As for are weight difference , we took a stance on not spending money on Turbo's, second we didn't feel that are tech people shouldn't should be subjected to tons of turbo rules . Go back and read some comments on the WTPA and HSTPA , one gave on weight and the other on Turbo. I never said I didn't like the compr

So what's the payout and purse for a class with 20-25 tractors in the south and how many do you pay down? With that question , I don't it's unreasonable to try for national hooks , because with them numbers the state hooks aren't going to miss a few tractors.

This post started out asking if are class would get bigger events. Now in order to make this happen everyone is going to have to work together. It's doesn't matter who's rules are better or who's been pulling longer . So let's put our bull headed attitudes to rest and work together. And as for the guys up north and lowa just introduced the alcohol tractors 4 years go .

This is one of the reasons why our class will never get a regional or national event because people can't compromise. if the guys up north and the guys down south I can't find common ground to move this class forward, we need to meet in middle .

What's funny is that there's tractors from the south the come to Gordyville and Cowtown pull and run 6400 and have no problems with weight . I think if you what this class to pull at big events the weight needs to stay at 6250.

PPL also runs this class in the Western Series. It's to bad that these two organizations can't get together and have the same rules.

For myself being a class rep for a LLSS with both fuels . I see both sides to this . One fuel has to have a disadvantage, plain an simple, and it's usually the alcohol tractors. And pullers are very strong headed people that fear change , because of the unknown in future technology. If you can get pullers to try with out costing alot of money it can work.

I agree with the last comment. Our fan base is getting smaller and older. Not saying that there's a few younger fans out there. Tractor pulling always brought the farm based fans , because they could relate to a tractor. Well look at the farming industry now , its getting smaller and more efficient.

To LLSS fan. Have you read all the rules of every group? Because Klint took everyone's rules and combined them so everyone had a chance to pull at Gordyville, and the reason for two weight classes. These rules have been beaten to death and everyone knows everybody's else's rules and which rules works for their club. There's no need to start another thread on rules or who'

Being in the media spot light is a double edge sword. Jason does a great job in promoting tractor pulling. But your always will be remembered for what you say and do, because your actions speak louder when you in that spot light as an announcer. I have listened to Jason through his announcing career and mistakes do happen. And in this day and age people get so defensive about what you say and how

There's no need for a claimer rule. If rules in place and get very detailed and have clubs and tech men follow through with the rules in place. We go through are rules a make sure there are no gray areas , because they will find them

What I don't get is that people come on here making accusations about cheating? There is a process of stopping the complaining. We are random checked at anytime. Been to Gordyville , been checked , PPL Western Series checked . Sounds like there needs to be changes in the process, because this just makes the Light Limited classes look bad. This class has been beat to death over the last Thre

These rules where set up when the traveling series series was up and running. Some clubs run these rules and some run different versions of these . We check turbo and have checked cubic inch. It's up to the clubs teck officials to follow up the class reps request for inspections.

Gubby you may be right , but next year we have two more alcohol tractor on there way and one was broke and two only showed two times this year . So if we had every one that pays dues for next year , we should be at 13-14 tractors. Now that a pretty good class. Plus you add in the WTPA tractors and there a few others in Wisconsin, should total around 25 give or take.

I would like to know how many member states like Badge State and WTPA have the LLSS classes witch belong to PPL and NTPA respectfully? So before we get excited on a grand national or champion tour events we think about this logically. Yes the class is growing with lots of interest. If we want to get this accomplished, all the complaints about rules and who region is better is not going to help

We voted it in last winter, but only have one tractor that is using it. I think alot has to do with the extra weight, but the weight is up front but it's not moveable .
