I spent a couple hours last night looking for aluminum tanks for my ice box for intercooler. Summit has alot to choose from including plastic, aluminum, or powder coated steal. Also found a website (www.dadscustomintercoolertank.com) that makes aluminum tanks however you want, the pictures look like good work.

Sascha is right, I work at a plant that machines parts for the automotive industry and we pretty much make for all brands and dont believe your not putting money in the japs hands if you buy from one of the big 3. Im a firm believer in trying to always buy american but when one of the big 3 visits our plant as many japs and koreans walk thru as americans. We make parts for one of the big 3 then

I agree with Bill R. It has alot to do with who pulls you over as I dont think they are clear on the laws, everyone of them seems to have a different answer. Seems that the guys with there rigs registered as RV's seem to have the best luck. A previous post mentioned racers not having as much trouble because most of them are registered RV's and the majority of pullers are farmers usi

You will definetly want to look for a turbo block to have the oil jets spraying the bottom of piston, rollers and roller cam. If thats not a option at this time the rollers and roller cam will fit in the n/a block.

Thanks AV and paul06dmax for all your info. I spent several hours on sunday night on a dmax forum and this is what I have came up with for anyone else interested. With the efi live you will have to have the time and knowledge to use it being able to set up different tunes manually or pay someone else to do it, which all is good if your looking for crazy horsepower. Read you can get so much wit

have read alot of threads for a duramax programmer. ppe vs. edge, alot of good things said about ppe but i like edge having the in cab monitor. I have also been told the edge will only correct tire size on the monitor and not the trucks speedometer, is that true? Was told to upgrade to 4" exhaust but could probly leave stock air filter/intake on. Any opinions?

I bought a roll cage from them at gordyville. And was able to talk to Dennis about some of his work for pullers. Dennis is very easy to get along with and willing to work with anybody. He had an IH frame for display at gordyville, excellent craftsmanship and I am sure he would be willing to talk to anyone for modifications and building for other tractors.
